About the Eco Lodge.
Lounge and walk around our beautiful 9 hectare hilltop estate in a gorgeous and safe setting just above Mikumi village. We look out over not one but two national parks: Udzungwa National Park and Mikumi National Park. The scenic, animal-rich Mikumi National Park is a hidden gem. Many animals are easily seen without much driving.
On the estate, you see more birds than in the national park. Other permanent residents include deer (bushbuck, reedbuck and dikdik), rabbits, bushbabies, agama and chameleons.
You enjoy a 360 view over hills, plains, mountains and two national parks. You will definitely see eagles and many other beautiful birds - see the gallery below.
We are outside the national park. You can safely walk around the estate. On-site birding is awesome!.
